Apple has announced a number of updates overnight for iPhones and iPads, Apple Watch and for AppleTV. Basic details of the updates are:

• iOS 10.2
  • iOS gets hundreds of new and redesigned emoji, including new faces, food, animals, sports, and professions.
  • In Messages, added new Love and Celebration full screen effects, improved tap to replace emoji.

• watchOS 3.1.1
  • General improvements and bug fixes.

• tvOS 10.1
  • General performance and stability improvements.
