It is always worth giving a shout out for certain apps as they are updated. One of these is Ian Page's, MacTracker. This has been an essential application on my Macs since before OS X. It has a vast amount of data on all Macs and on the various model updates. MacTracker has been available as an iOS app since 2011.

The most recent update (3.2.2) appeared in my iTunes today and shows a couple of changes:

  • Details of latest iOS and OS X updates are added;
  • Support status for Apple's latest vintage and obsolete products
  • Other minor changes and additions
