Cassandra

A short while ago I put online my own examination of Apple's recent releases to go with the article in the Bangkok Post. My own version has a lot more, partly because of space considerations for the newspaper.

In the text, I include a number of references to critics including John Dvorak and Jean-Claude Biver who is a watch man and who was cited in an article that appeared in the Bangkok Post last week.

One of the most useful sources of information I look at every day, is MacDaily News and they have an item this morning that also refers to Biver, Dvorak and "business titans and illustrious tech pundits cited below - most of whom are currently "spending more time with their families" or asking, "Would you like fries with that?""

The MacDaily News list is well worth a read in its own right and the comments on the imminent failure of the original iPhone are just wonderful. As I looked through the list, however, it was sobering to read the names of several analysts who many people to offer proper advice for investment.

Many clearly did not understand the product, or Apple. Many still don't.
