Cassandra

Users of Apple TV in Thailand have been used to being behind the curve somewhat when it comes to what Apple offers online. Similarly, music and some movies only arrived in the iTunes store in the last year or so; and there were few channels on the Apple TV until a recent update gave us a wider range.

Now, at the same time as this has a arrived in the USA, Apple TV here has a Beatles channel. What we may see is a 14-minute extract from the historic appearance the Fab Four made on the Ed Sullivan Show exactly 50 years ago (yesterday, Thai time). That 9 February event in 1964 was a watershed moment and turned the Beatles from stars to superstars.

Also with the link to the 14-minute video is a list of some 13 albums on offer. Clicking on any one reveals the play list. A user may play a short part of each track or buy them all.
