Cassandra

I check for updates in the iTunes App Store and the Mac App Store perhaps a little too often, but over the weekend (and Monday) the iTunes display kept telling me that there were no updates available.

The logjam appears to have been fixed as this evening (checking for the second time) I now find that there are 24 apps shown ready for me.

App Store Updates

Among the more significant are LINE and Twitter as these are used frequently by many users as alternative means of communication. Perhaps the word, Alternative, is wrong here as the number of users of these apps has grown significantly in the last 12 months. Dropbox, IM+ Instant Messenger, and Foursquare are also updated.

Also available is the new MacDaily News app. Version 3.0 of the app has been completely redesigned. Apple has also been busy with updates to the iTunes U app and to Remote which allows the ability to control iTunes radio on the Mac or PC.

A number of camera apps have seen updates, including two from Michael Hardaker: 645 PRO Mk II (including changes to dynamic film grain, shutter speed options); and PureShot (shutter speed and other feature improvements).

Other camera apps updated are Pix_Pixel Mixer, Repix, 8mm Vintage Camera, Miniature Cam, the excellent Paper Camera, Camera Zoom 3 and CameraBag 2, which was also updated on the Mac today.
