Tim Cook

A number of reports I have seen this morning comment on the presentation by Tim Cook at the Goldman Sachs Technology and Internet Conference. For some undisclosed reason, the time has been switched from the end of trading on Wall Street to a time of 07:15 am (Pacific) which is just after the markets open for trading in New York. This will be a late evening time (10:15 pm) for those of us in Thailand.

There is no given reason for the time switch, but there is speculation that, with recent share price falls (currently $479.93) what Cook says may bear some significance: either as a product announcement (or hint); or a change in the way Apple deals with its financials.

The speech is to be made available by Apple as a live audio stream.
